Born in East Ham and a life-long supporter of West Ham Utd. Did a degree at the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London. Much of my working life has been spent in HR management.
Moved to Elsworth in in February 2000 after being appointed as the very first HR Director at the University of Cambridge.
After retirement, undertook some consultancy and pro bono work, including visits to India and Australia. Interests include travel, 60s/70s music, history, playing tennis, and, of course, the Parish Council which I joined in 2012.
